What Happened in the Dunes
"What Happened in the Dunes" is a wearable story, pulled from the paths of my childhood spent in the dunes. It is a love letter to that freedom—the hidden trails, the forts, and the secrets kept in the sand.
Look closely and you’ll find the characters: Foxy, the sneaky, red-coated stray we all loved; the little notebook-paper airplane, a small, folded dream; the big sand dunes, exaggerated by my imagination; and a grinning alligator I added to the mix. My black-and-white stripes wind around a surreal plant in honor of my brother. This is a color-drenched map of where I’ve been and who I’ve loved.
