The iguana
“The Iguana" is a wearable story about a lizard who, like me, is usually not a morning person. He got up early one day to cross the dunes and catch the sunrise on an orange morning. It’s a study of patterns, using bold stripes and color harmonies you wouldn’t usually see on a reptile.
The iguana’s eye peeks out from different spots on each side of the shoe, framed by kaleidoscopic patterns. My black-and-white stripes wind through the design as a tribute to my brother, keeping his memory part of the rhythm.
The Art of the Design:
